More about Rod Price and Racing to the Yukon
Paddling a canoe and more specifically canoe racing is, to hear Rod Price tell it, the greatest joy in his life (After his daughter Chelsea).
He has spent the last thirty years racing canoes and a few other light water craft all around the globe. It has been a long arduous physical and spiritual quest for Rod and he shares the reasons and results of that tour with readers in his book, “Racing to the Yukon.”
Racing to the Yukon, subtitled “A lifetime of racing adventure from the Everglades to the Amazon to the Yukon” is Rod’s personally written memoir of the motivation and consequent effort behind his drive to succeed in paddle sports.
In his book, Rod looks back at some his finer as well as less than glorious moments seated in the stern of a canoe for one purpose or another.
